Tuxedo kitties
I have two tuxedo cats, Edgar and Agatha, formerly of the SPCA and before that, strays in Central VA.

I have two tuxedo cats, Edgar and Agatha, formerly of the SPCA and before that, strays in central Virginia. Now their primary activities are eating dinner, jockeying for lap space and finding napping sites warmed by sunlight.

I also love dogs and volunteer as a dog walker at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA. Those walks benefit me as much as the dogs. In addition to the dogs serving as excellent personal trainers, nothing beats the uninhibited gratitude of a dog to life my spirits.

The CASPCA is an amazing place. Although it’s the city and county pound and can’t turn away animals, it still manages to be a no-kill shelter, saving about 90 percent of the four or five thousand animals it takes in each year.

To "Kill" a Mockingbird

I love this picture because it has a cat, a book and a pun. What more could you want?
